There are certain places and situations that cause a blanket of quiet to descend over us. This image brings up the idea of a setting in which we might find access to that peace. But these spaces exhist withinin first and foremost. 
 
I go through moments when I experience racing thoughts, ideas about what I "should" be doing, what I might be missing if I'm not vigilant. My mind has told me to fear loss, to create more control to avoid it.  But I have a practice of steering myself back to inner spaciousness. The title of this piece 'A Place to Breathe' speaks to that realm of interior safety.
 
As all prints are hand pressed, each will have some minor differences, which I believe adds to the character of the print. I cannot guarantee that you will receive the edition featured in the photo.
